Please note: I will not assume any responsibility for any of the following links or file downloads.  I do not own these programs nor do I provide support for them.  These links and files are here only to assist you in the effort of cleaning up spyware that might be on your computer.  I use these programs myself and have found them to be very helpful.  I will try to keep the most current programs available here.

Tip: Always make sure you have an updated version of Anti-Virus installed on your computer.  It is very possible that there may be a newer version available for each of the programs below.  It is recommended that you visit the official website to download the latest version available for download.
 
  • Windows Update
    		• Keep your operating system up to date! Running Windows Update will insure that you have the latest updates for Microsoft Windows. These updates patch security flaws in Microsoft operating systems.
  • Glary Utilities

    It allows you to clean common system junk files, as well as invalid registry entries and Internet traces. You can manage and delete browser add-ons, analyze disk space usage and find duplicate files. You can also view and manage installed shell extensions, encrypt your files from unauthorized access and use, split large files into smaller manageable files and then rejoin them. Furthermore, Glary Utilities includes the options to optimize memory, find, fix, or remove broken Windows shortcuts, manage the programs that start at Windows startup and uninstall software.   • Lavasoft Adaware-AE
     
    		•  Lavasoft's free program, Adaware Anniversary Edition, eliminates spyware and adware on your system. Keeping it up to date and running weekly scans will free system resources from these malicious files. For more information, visit Lavasoft's official site.
  • CoolWebSearch Shredder
    		• CoolWebSearch is one of the most notorious and popular forms of spyware. Adware and Spybot may have a tough time removing it, but CWShredder is quick and efficient at removing it and all its variants.
  • Spybot Search & Destroy
    		• What Adaware won't pickup, Spybot will. Used in conjunction with Adaware and CWShredder, this program will keep you completely spyware free.   • Google Toolbar
    		• Google Toolbar is a browser toolbar from the creators of the most highly regarded search engine on the Internet. It integrates a Google search feature, Blogger, AutoFill, and most importantly, pop-up blocking. It's a very robust and simple all-in-one toolbar.
  • MalwareBytes
    		• Malwarebytes has developed a variety of tools that can identify and remove malicious software from your computer. When your computer becomes infected, Malwarebytes can provide the needed assistance to remove the infection and restore the machine back to optimum performance.
